A Night to Remember- Candlelight Vigil for International Overdose Awareness Day
A Night to Remember is an event held in honor of those we have have lost to overdose. August 31st of each year is International Overdose Awareness Day and we wish to honor the memories of our loved ones. The event will start at 7 pm with Community Speakers: Congressman Paul Tonko, General Council from OASAS, Robert Kent and Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. 7:30 pm several family speakers will share the memories of their loved ones. 8 pm will be the Candlelight Ceremony. Candles will be provided. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. There will a children’s activity table to paint stones to remember their special person. Table Space will be provided for individuals to display framed photos of their loved ones. We hope to see you there on this very special evening.
